From 17th to 23th march 2012
Karin Pisarikova presents :
Home, revisited
Home, revisited is a project by Karin Pisarikova, that introduces a strong team of five Japanese artists: Rieko Seto, Tomoyuki Nikky, Masami Maeda, Reiko Ogura and Manami Ishimura.
Seasoned artist Rieko Seto, who is based in Hiroshima, creates an ideal home for the human body from waste cardboard in her work. The results trigger an intensive existential feeling of human fragility. Tomoyuki Nikky introduces another piece from his unbelievable set of huge half-alive moving monsters that welcome you inside to inhabit its intimate yet sterile space. Performer and video artist Masami Maeda´s work focuses a search for the secrets of human clothes. Two recent Tama Art University graduates , sculptor Manami Ishimura and photographer Reiko Ogura introduce themselves and their unconventional work.
Everyone is kindly invited to the opening party March 17th at 5pm.
