Hi I'm going to Tokyo between the 6th and 17th of December and I really want to go see a gig but there is nothing announced for those dates. Is it just that there are typically very few gigs in December or have they just not been announced yet?

December is a long way off!
Except major festivals and big international acts, gigs are usually announced only from a couple of weeks to 3 months in advance.
Don't worry, there will be plenty on.
