About the Musicians

Miyata Yoshi (Saxophone)
A graduate of Musashino Music University, originally trained in classical clarinet before gravitating toward jazz saxophone, Miyata is now a familiar name across the Tokyo jazz scene. As a performer, session leader, and educator, he moves effortlessly between tenor, alto, and soprano sax, and often explores jazz through multi-disciplinary collaborations involving painting and dance .

Terashima Yuki (Piano)
A graduate of Shohoku Gakuen University’s Jazz & Pops program, Terashima began music as a child on Electone and later played tenor sax before switching to piano in high school . His credentials include a solo grand prize at the 2008 Asakusa Jazz Contest and study under legendary pianist Joanne Brackeen in New York. With a robust track record in trio, ensemble, and organ work, Terashima brings lyrical sensitivity and rhythmic conviction to this performance.
