It’s been a minute but we’re so excited for the return of Bedroom Psychedelia, an event where the only rule is no computers! Live psychedelic music by nw nrml & Santa Dharma & The Portal at MoguMogu in Asagaya!

We love computers as much as the next person, but in this era of AI everything, it’s fun to see creations made with small gadgets, drum machines, and fuzzy strings. Come dine on midi spaghetti with us.

The Portal
The Portal is a Tokyo-based music project by @nobbbbbbbbb and @elyleymars, occasionally joined by friends from the local scene. Fusing bedroom indie, new wave, electronic, and psychedelia, they create a hazy, synthy soundscape.

With a vault of unreleased demos, their live sets are the only place to catch these tracks in the wild.

Santa Dharma
Santa Dharma is a wife-husband psychedelic pop band based in Tokyo. Fusing toy synthesizers, fuzzy electric strings, drum machines, and Buddhist accents, they create lo-fi, dreamy music that resurrects a retro future. They also organize a YouTube tv show featuring local and international acts: Buddhagaya TV.
