Yong Yandsen 2017 Tokyo Tour
Malaysian free improvising tenor saxophonist Yong Yandsen is one the leading experimental musicians in South-East Asia with a distinctive and highly-expressive voice on the tenor that is draws elements from Kaoru Abe, Albert Alyer and John Butcher.
He will be playing three concerts in Tokyo between October 12-15 and will be joined by Tokyo-based musicians Toshimaru Nakamura (no input mixer), Hirose Junji (sax), Darren Moore (drums) and Tetuzi Akiyama (guitar).
