March/April Gigs

I'm in Japan in late March and the first two weeks in April and am looking for some gigs. I arrive on 27th, but the only people playing Tokyo that weekend are Oasis and that's too big and too boring for me. I see the Wedding Present are playing a week before I arrive, which is very frustrating.

Any suggestions? Bands I like: Wedding Present; Mogwai; British Sea Power; Clinic; Holy Fuck; The Flaming Stars; Woodenshjips; Motorhead; Iggy; Jeffrey Lewis; Polysics.

Alternatively, are there a couple of clubs in Tokyo that I could just go to and stand a chance of seeing something decent?

Late March is a long way away, so most gigs on then aren't known about yet, especially for local bands.
Check this site closer to the date and you should be able to find some good gigs.
If you're very open-minded, you could just turn up at a club. They tend to play different music each night. Could be hardcore one night, and electro-pop the next.
