OPEN MIC NIGHTS

Just before I post this question I have researched heaps about Music in Japan and have read most of the posts on this forum. I understand how the live houses work but would like to know if there are Venues that have open Mic nights where you can just get up with a guitar and play a few tunes?

Myself and a few mates fellow musicians are heading over to Japan for a Holiday in October. We have no contacts in Japan and a very vague understanding of the music scene.

We have a live show that we can do a great one at that and basically is there anyone out there who plays bands, Works at a venue and is interested in putting on a show or sharing some information.
