イルポ・ヘイッキネンとは。

ヘルシンキを拠点に活動する音楽家／アーティスト。

主な表現形態としては実験音楽、ノイズ、インスタレーションや

パフォーミング・アーツなど多岐に渡る。音楽への身体的な関わりに重きを置く表現者。個人の活動と並行して、グループや他アーティストとの共演もしばしば行われる。代表的なものではGUNK（グンク）への参加、Ilia Belorukov（イリア・ベロルコブ）、Lauri Hyvärinen （ラウリ・ヒバリネン）、Taneli Viitahuhta（タネリ・ヴィタフッタ）との共演が挙げられる。エストニア、ラトビア、ロシアなどフィンランド以外の国でのパフォーマンスも経験あり。今回、日本での公演は初となる。

About Ilpo Heikkinen

“Ilpo Heikkinen is a young Helsinki-based artist and a musician, working mainly with experimental/noise music, installation art and performing arts. In addition to his solo work, he also plays in various groups,

for example GUNK, and with many musicians such as Ilia Belorukov, Lauri Hyvärinen and Taneli Viitahuhta, and has performed in Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Russia. Heikkinen’s work often deals with spacial and physical aspects of sound.”
