Details
Call And Response Records' "Telephone Club" event -- modern post-punk, no wave, krautrock and eccentric indie pop and rock.
Featuring:
Zibanchinka -- Freaky garage-punk girl group from Kagoshima.
tacobonds -- High-energy post-punk/progressive rock.
Owllights -- Off-kilter, melodic indie rock with an experimental edge.
Praha Depart -- Rhythmical post-punk in the mould of The Pop Group, Siouxie & the Banshees and Lydia Lunch.
Polygonum -- Punk/indie band, influenced by Sonic Youth and The Velvet Underground.
Between bands, messrs Ian Martin and James Hadfield, occasional music critics at The Japan Times, will be spinning tracks from the DJ booth.

Take the North exit of JR Koenji station and turn left, go straight past the McDonalds and keep walking straight ahead down a narrow street called Central Road. Look out for Club Roots on your right in the basement of an Okinawan restaurant.
