Sadly, this will be the VERY LAST AMP event at NOB, as the building is scheduled to be torn down to make way for a MEGA Starbucks + Disney Disco Resort.

Since 2013, AMP has been bringing some of the hottest artists from Japan and around the world to Tokyo, and Shibuya NOB has been an important part of that journey.

So there is ONLY ONE WAY to say goodbye…

And if you’ve ever wondered why it’s called “NOB”… here’s the story.

It was actually a misspelling.

Back in 1977, the venue was originally supposed to be called Shibuya KNOB. The reason? The building’s owner was a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland, so the venue’s door handles were designed to resemble the famous handles from the film.

Somehow, the “K” disappeared, and NOB was born.

And now you know!
