Based in Austin, Texas since the late 1970s, Tim Kerr is a living legend who helped build a distinct DIY culture spanning punk, funk, skateboarding, and visual art. As the founding guitarist of the pioneering skate-rock band Big Boys, Kerr continues to inspire artists and musicians worldwide through his extensive discography and visual art.

This tour goes beyond a series of traditional concerts. It offers an immersive, cross-cultural experience featuring live art painting, skate spot events, and select screenings of You Can Color Outside the Lines—the acclaimed documentary on the Big Boys featuring Ian MacKaye (Fugazi), Steve Albini, Jeff Ament (Pearl Jam), and J Mascis (Dinosaur Jr.).

  • Uncompromising Vision: The Art of Tim Kerr Embodying his personal ethos to "Color Outside the Lines," Kerr’s work spans skateboard deck graphics, album covers, street photography, and fine art. The Gifu stop at TORA JAK BOWL will feature a live painting session alongside the performance, offering a rare look into his multifaceted creative world.

  • Special Collaboration at Enoshima OPPA-LA On October 17, the tour lands at Enoshima OPPA-LA for a seaside event featuring acclaimed artist Yusuke Hanai, a close friend of Kerr's who is widely celebrated within international street and surf/skate cultures. The tour finale on October 18 at Shimokitazawa La Caña features singer-songwriter Mari Nakamura, personally requested by Kerr following their collaborative performance in Japan two years ago.

  • Documentary Screening: You Can Color Outside the Lines Select venues will host special screenings detailing the legacy of Austin's legendary Big Boys, featuring insights from punk and alternative icons such as Ian MacKaye, Steve Albini, Jeff Ament, and J Mascis (details to be announced).

Tim Kerr Born in 1956 and based in Austin, Texas, Tim Kerr is an artist, photographer, skateboarder, and musician. As guitarist for Big Boys in the late 1970s, he pioneered the fusion of funk, hardcore punk, and skate culture.
