Experience an evening of refined musical storytelling as pianist Manabu Oishi presents a special solo performance at Koenji’s atmospheric live salon, Toi‑Own. Born in Yokohama (1963), Oishi trained at the Yamaha Nemu Music Academy before launching his professional journey. He’s released multiple acclaimed trio and solo albums, including the evocative Tears Rained Down—praised for its lyrical piano voice reminiscent of Bill Evans and Herbie Hancock . More recently, his solo album Jigyo (2025) showcases his mastery of intimate, introspective piano storytelling .
