A very, VERY special night with one of Britain's true mavericks - writer, musician, composer, nightclub host, curator, actor and adventurer, RICHARD STRANGE. He burst upon the scene in 1975 with his legendary punk band Doctors of Madness. Since then, he has been a Zelig-like figure whose presence has been constantly felt in every corner of London's cultural life.

Richard is thrilled to be visiting Tokyo to perform his amazing new one-man show AN ACCENT WAITING TO HAPPEN. The show is a collection of stories, film clips, songs and scurrilous gossip. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the popular culture of his generation: The Sex Pistols, Jack Nicholson, Marianne Faithfull, Twiggy, Tom Waits, Martin Scorsese, Kevin Costner, Tim Burton, Men Behaving Badly, Batman, Harry Potter and Anita Pallenberg among them. He's dying to tell you about them!

The songs will be from his sizzling 50-year catalogue, from Doctors of Madness to the present day, interspersed with stories and film clips from his vast archive. Morgan Fisher will accompany/interrupt him from time to time.

Morgan Salon is the cosy, artistic personal studio of British keyboardist Morgan Fisher (Mott the Hoople, Queen, Yoko Ono, etc.). It's a five-minute walk from Daitabashi Station (just 2 stops from Shinjuku on the Keio Line).

イギリスの真の異端者、作家、ミュージシャン、作曲家、ナイトクラブのホスト、キュレーター、俳優、冒険家、リチャード・ストレンジとの、とてもとても特別な夜。彼は伝説のパンクバンド、ドクターズ・オブ・マッドネスで1975年にシーンに登場しました。それ以来、彼はカメレオンのように変化し、ロンドンの文化生活のあらゆる場所に現れています。

リチャードは、東京を訪れて、素晴らしい新しいワンマンショー「AN ACCENT WAITING TO HAPPEN」を披露できることをとても楽しみにしています。このショーは、物語、映画のクリップ、歌、そして下品なゴシップのコレクションです。彼は、セックス・ピストルズ、ジャック・ニコルソン、マリアンヌ・フェイスフル、ツイギー、トム・ウェイツ、マーティン・スコセッシ、ケビン・コスナー、ティム・バートン、メン・ビヘイビング・バッドリー、バットマン、ハリー・ポッター、アニタ・パレンバーグなど、同世代のポップカルチャー界の大物たちと仕事をしてきました。彼は彼らについての話がしたくてたまりません！

曲は、ドクターズ・オブ・マッドネスから現在までの彼の50年間の素晴らしいカタログから選ばれ、彼の膨大なアーカイブからの物語や映画のクリップが散りばめられています。モーガン・フィッシャーが彼に同行し、時々邪魔をします。
