To kick off the "MIMINOIMI - Ambient / Week -," Naoko Tanaka, who has been active in the field of soundscape research since the 1980s and is one of the editors of the groundbreaking book on environmental music, "Namino Kihuho" , will be invited to lead a sound walk (soundscape) workshop around Kanda, where the main festival venue POLARIS tokyo is located. Then, there will be a live performance by the sound artist, sawako and a lecture by N aoko Tanaka.
Participants will be able to experience fresh sensations discovered by opening and clearing their ears in the city, and learn about sound, memory, and the invisible "strata of time" that have accumulated in the city through a lecture on soundscapes from a historical perspective by Naoko Tanaka, who was involved in soundscape research in Kanda in the 1980s. The lecture will also provide an opportunity to learn about sound and memory, and the invisible "strata of time" that have accumulated in the city.
A special live set will be performed by sawako, who experienced the workshop with the participants on the day of the event, and the event is expected to enable participants to experience, recognize, and think about sound in various ways.

「MIMINOIMI – Ambient / Week -」の幕開けとして、80年代よりサウンドスケープ研究分野で活躍し、環境音楽についての画期的な書籍である『波の記譜法』（時事通信社）の編著者の一人でもある田中直子氏をお招きし、フェスティバルのメイン会場となるPOLARIS tokyoがある神田付近を歩くサウンドスケープ・ワークショップと、音響作家のsawako氏をお招きしたライブを実施します。
参加者の皆様は、街の中で耳を開いたり澄ましたりする中で発見される新鮮な感覚が体験できると共に、80年代に神田のサウンドスケープ研究に携わった田中直子氏による歴史的な観点からのサウンドスケープのレクチャーを通じて、音と記憶、まちに堆積した不可視の「時の地層」についても学ぶことができます。
そして、当日参加者の皆様と共にワークショップを体験したsawako氏による特別なライブセットが披露され、様々な形で音を体験、認識、思考することができるイベントが期待されます。
