CD-R Store Dayは、世界史上最も手軽で民主的なフィジカルフォーマットにフォーカスしたDIY音楽を祝う祭典です。
インディー/アンダーグラウンドアーティストが集結してユニークで新しいEPやアルバムをこのイベントのために制作しました。新しいマテリアルはもちろん、フレッシュなミックス、過去に制作したが未公開のトラックなどもあります。本イベントでリリースされるすべての作品はCD-Rで制作され、500円均一です。ビール1杯の値段ですね。高円寺のAMPcafeの午後にスタートし、作品販売だけではなく、アーティスト演奏もあります。このCD-Rマーケットの後は高円寺のGreen
Appleでアフターパーティも開催予定です。ライブパフォーマンスやDJもあります。

CD-R Store Day celebrates DIY music by focusing on the most accessible and democratic physical music format the world has ever known. A collection of indie and underground artists are each producing their unique new EPs or albums specially for the event, featuring new material, fresh mixes or previously unreleased tracks. All releases are being made available on CD-R for the uniform price of ¥500 — the cost of one beer — and will be on sale at a special afternoon event at AMPcafe in Koenji, which will also feature live performances from a handful of the participating artists. The CD-R market will be followed by an after-party at nearby music bar Green Apple, featuring live performances and DJs.
