It's the third Saturday! Yes, it's time for the Musashino Juke Joint Blues jam at the funky Foxhole jazz bar in Kichijoji! This Blues jam is very special in that it has continued for 15 years and that some of the regular members are pros/semi-pros and superior amateur players. It is definitely fun just to watch them perform--with no admission charge. The atmosphere is very friendly and intimate, and there are always a couple of people who speak English. So don't be shy, please come out to this cool part of town and enjoy the Blues with us! If you feel like playing or singing, you can get up on stage! See you there!

Getting to Foxhole: It's a quick and easy walk from JR Kichijoji station (Sobu/Chuo line). Just come out at the North exit (not the Park exit) - that's the one that faces the bus plaza. Then walk along the tracks in the direction of Nakano/Shinjuku. The tracks will be on your RIGHT side as you are walking. You'll first (immediately) cross the big two-way street, then it's just another four streets til the Foxhole, on the left side of the street. If you pass the 7-11, you've gone too far! The walk takes about 2 minutes.
