Musashino Juke Joint Presents a Japanese Jeff Beck from Kokubunji, and more!

Details

The Musashino Juke Joint Blues jam presents a triple bill show!

This is an interesting opportunity for some of the MJJ regular members to get together and play a set each. They usually play something they do not play at jams. Tonight's performers include the following:

1) Harry Taniguchi Blues Band - Harry Taniguchi (his stage name is Harry because he looks like Harry Potter) on guitar/vocals, and a support band. It may be kind of torturous to sit through his singing, but please be patient. He is doing his best.

2) Ozaki & Miyazaki - a Blues duo of Mr. Ozaki, who is a fine guitarist , and Mr. Miyazaki, who loves the Southern soul & Blues.

3) Janmah Shimamura Band - A tribute to Jeff Beck! Janmah is a dedicated Jeff Beck style guitarist and pro musician/producer. You cannot leave without watching this main act! He actually does a wide range of music from Muddy Waters style Blues to inprovisational music. As he is a pro, if you like his playing, please tip him by handing it directly to him. (There may not be a tip box.)

Well, seeing is believing. Why don't you spend the Saturday night at the funky jazz bar in the cool part of the town enjoing live music and sipping your favorite drinks...

Acoustic & jazz bar

Getting to Foxhole: It's a quick and easy walk from JR Kichijoji station (Sobu/Chuo line). Just come out at the North exit (not the Park exit) - that's the one that faces the bus plaza. Then walk along the tracks in the direction of Nakano/Shinjuku. The tracks will be on your RIGHT side as you are walking. You'll first (immediately) cross the big two-way street, then it's just another four streets til the Foxhole, on the left side of the street. If you pass the 7-11, you've gone too far! The walk takes about 2 minutes.
