Otori was formed in Tokyo in 2010. After some members changed, the current members gathered in 2016.

Otori are influenced by post punk just like no wave. Their sound have featured tight beat and noisy symbolic guitar. They are now evolving into stateless dance music. The fusion of the conflicting elements makes their unique characteristic.

They acted "Next Music From Tokyo” festival vol.7(2015),vol.13(2018) in Canada. Not only in Japan, they are promoting borderless activities.
