松本健一 kenichi Matsumoto (ts, ss)
1964年長崎県生まれ。即興や特殊奏法を中心としたフィールドでサックスを探求。85年頃都内ライブハウスで活動を始め、松風鉱一氏に師事。現在、ソロ、福島久雄(g)とのデュオ、サックスアンサンブル「SXQ」、即興演奏セッション等で演奏する傍ら、即興演奏ワークショップ「新・即興の日」を主催。他オリジナルラヴ、藤井郷子オーケストラ、world's end girlfriend等でライブ、レコーディングで活動中。2008年、SXQでVilnius Jazz Festival,Longarms Festivalに参加。

Pearl Alexander パール・アレキサンダー (b) 
1982年生まれ。９歳よりコントラバスを学ぶ。ミシガン大学でダイアナ・ガネット氏に師事。現代クラシック音楽の収録に２回参加。その一つ、ウィリアム・ボルコム作曲による「Songs of Innocence and Experience」（レオナード・スラトキン指揮）は、2006年にグラミー賞を受賞した。2006年８月の来日以来、新潟県における即興活動経て、2009年より上京。七尾旅人、齋藤徹、バール・フィリップス、中村としまる、 カール・ストーン、坂本弘道、勝井祐二、Jean Sasportes, 岩下徹、工藤丈輝 などと様々なジャンルの音楽家やダンサーと共演を行う。齋藤徹のGEN311ベースのアンサンブルに参加し、Kadima CollectiveにリリースされたDVDに参加。

Born in 1982. A graduate of University of Michigan where she studied double bass performance under Diana Gannett. Living near Tokyo since 2009, she has collaborated with wide variety of musicians and dancers including Tavito Nanao, Tetsu Saitoh, Barre Phillips, Toshimaru Nakamura, Carl Stone, Hiromichi Sakamoto, Yuji Katsui, Jean Sasportes Toru Iwashita, and Taketeru Kudo among others. She performed on Tetsu Saitoh's bass ensemble GEN311 DVD released on the Kadima Collective Label.

She played on two modern music recordings while at the University of Michigan. One of those recordings, Songs of Innocence and Experience conducted by Leonard Slatkin, won 3 Grammy Awards in 2006.
