SMOKE BENDERS trio

The wonderfully intimate Bar Isshee once again is host to the Smoke Benders, as they explore the worlds of spontaneous chunk and funk, homespun blues-a-whoosits and intuitive New Orleans second-line rhythm-a-ding, all filtered through a fine lens of split-second improvisational propulsion into the upper reaches of stratospheric soul. Samm Bennett, Daysuke Takaoka and Naoya Numa (the original TRIO version of the Smoke Benders) won't be appearing together again for at least a couple of months, so y'all don't miss this one. 

As always at Bar Isshee, there is a 500 yen bar charge and a 1-drink minimum. Then it's pass the hat for the musicians: pay as you're able!
