Hali Koryo are known for their dynamic song structures, featuring frequent odd time signatures and open chords, as well as a distinctive lyrical world that seems to drift somewhere between meaning and meaninglessness. Drawing influence from Japan’s reverb-heavy “Zankyo-kei” scene, the band has created a singular sonic world that carries a subtle sense of melancholy amid its overarching air of mystery.

Take the north exit of Kichijoji station and head up the Sun Road arcade. At the second street with Shoe Plaza on the corner, turn left. Go straight head until you find Doutor Coffee on your right. Planet K is in the basement of that building.
