-CROSSLUCID
Berlin-based artist collective formed in 2018 by Sylwana Zybura and Tomas C. Toth. Through interdisciplinary practices including video, AI, collage, and installation, they explore the emergence of self and intimacy, as well as new relationships between human and non-human entities within the co-evolution with technology. Their works have been presented at SXSW, Art Basel Miami, and various museums, festivals, and art platforms worldwide.

For this event, their video work Dwellers Between The Waters will receive its Japan premiere, accompanied by an improvised live performance by Sayaka Botanic. The work explores memory, trauma, healing, and intersecting realities, creating a one-time experience through the encounter of image and sound.

-Mlosims × Sayaka Botanic
Mlosims — Tokyo-based experimental musician. Focusing on noises and sustained tones (drones) generated from self-made sound objects, as well as improvisation with instruments, he develops live performances that explore sonic unpredictability and spatiality.

Sayaka Botanic — Performer and musician. Since 2012, she has been active internationally as a member of the industrial avant-garde duo groupA. Her solo work centers on improvised violin performance and sampling, incorporating physicality and the shifting qualities of sound that emerge within each space.

-FATHER (Nanao Kobayashi)
Tokyo-born artist and musician. He perceives phenomena beyond human perception and logic as movements of particles and waves, translating them into artworks and performances. Through self-taught practices with percussion, drums, electronic instruments, and voice, he creates improvisational performances focused on unique experiences of time and space.

Under the name “FATHER,” he explores music as an expression of life, developing relationships between sound and his own embroidered sculptural works and installations.

-deadfish eyes
Influenced by post-internet experimental music, deadfish eyes creates dark and emotional DJ sets incorporating a wide range of genres including Post Punk, New Wave, Industrial, and Noise.
For this event, he will present a special live DJ set accompanied by visuals.
