モーガンズ・オルガン・スペシャル #1 - モーガン・フィッシャー ＆ スペシャルゲスト 成田千絵（チェロ、ヴォーカル）
新シリーズ：モーガンズ・オルガン・スペシャル！ イギリスのロック・キーボード奏者、モーガン・フィッシャー（モット・ザ・フープル、クイーン、オノ・ヨーコなど）は、キーボード／シンセサイザーを用いた即興演奏家としても活躍しています。過去20年間、150回を超える「モーガンズ・オルガン」コンサートを通して、長尺ソロ即興演奏の技を磨き続けてきました。
この新シリーズでは、モーガンが毎回、才能溢れるスペシャルゲストを招き、即興演奏を披露します。両プレイヤーによるソロ即興演奏の後、より長く、より深みのあるデュオ即興演奏へと続きます。モーガンによるライトアートや、荘厳で美しい画像や映像が織りなすサウンドに、会場は圧巻です。イベントのライブ録音は、後日BandCampからダウンロード可能です。
会場は、引き続き、明大前近くにある、彼の居心地の良いアーティスティックな個人スタジオ、モーガン・サロンです。

＊ 成田千絵 プロフィール：
Chie Narita cellist/singer-song writer/improviser 幼少から音楽を始め、1994年チェロに出会う。井上頼豊氏に師事。 渡印してヨガを学び、心身と音楽がよりリンクするようになり演奏活動を始める。 チェロ弾き語りという未知の世界に音色を織り成すように記憶の景色を描く。 3枚のアルバムをリリース。 舞台音楽制作や日本の響きを海外に伝える活動もしている。 古典を学びながら、人と時と場を結ぶ新たな響きを探求している。

British rock keyboardist MORGAN FISHER (Mott the Hoople, Queen, Yoko Ono, etc.) is also a skilled keyboard/synthesizer improviser. In the last 20 years he has continually refined the art of long-form solo improvisation with over 150 "Morgan's Organ" concerts.

With this new series, Morgan will invite a talented Special Guest to improvise with him at each concert. There will be solo improvisations by both players, followed by a longer, deeper duo improvisation, all accompanied by Morgan's light art and other sublimely beautiful images and videos.

The venue continues to be Morgan Salon, his cosy, artistic personal studio near Meidaimae. It's just a five-minute walk from Daitabashi Station (only 2 stops by local train from Shinjuku on the Keio Line).

＊ CHIE NARITA Biography:
She began playing music at a young age and discovered the cello in 1994. She then studied under the pioneering cellist Yoritoyo Inoue.
After graduating from university, she traveled to India to study yoga,
and her real musical journey began.
Since 2012, she has performed live concerts based on her original lyrics and music, and has released three albums.
She is involved in numerous improvisations with dancers, calligraphers, and fragrance artists.
Has performed in France, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, and other countries, expressing the sounds of Japan through the cello.
While continuing her classical studies, she is exploring new music that aims to connect time, place, and people.

5 minutes' walk from Daitabashi station, hust two stops from Shinjuku on the Keio Line, Morgan Salon is the personal music/art studio of Morgan Fisher, a resident of Tokyo since 1985. Morgan is a British keyboard player and has played with many well-known bands since the 70's, including Mott the Hoople and Queen, and Japanese artists Yoko Ono, Haruomi Hosono, Yellow Monkey, The Boom, Kina Shoukichi and others. From 2003 to 2013 he performed 100 solo improv shows at Superdeluxe (Nishi-Azabu), featuring his collection of vintage analogue keyboards and projections of his abstract light art. In 2013 he began a new series of solo concerts in his studio. He also invites other musicians and artists in all genres to give performances there, in the spirit of the salons of Paris in the 20's, or the lofts of New York in the 60's. Fetaured guests have included Terry Riley, Jane Siberry, The 5678s. All events in this cosy, artistic venue (capacity 30) include complimentary wine and snacks!
