A playful and energetic tribute night celebrating anime songs and tokusatsu music in an intimate Koenji live salon.
Led by saxophonist 長野次郎 (Jiro Nagano), known for his versatility across jazz and improvisational music, this ensemble reimagines familiar anime and tokusatsu themes with creativity and humor.
He is joined by washboard bassist 渡部拓実 (Takumi Watanabe), electric bassist 西村友貴 (Yuki Nishimura), and pianist 菊池麻由 (Mayu Kikuchi), whose flexible and responsive playing supports the group with groove, color, and playful dynamics.
Rather than a nostalgic reenactment, this event treats anime and tokusatsu music with respect and curiosity, transforming well known melodies through live improvisation and unique arrangements.
