We welcome you to enjoy the great performance of AYAKO MIHARA TRIO at The Adirondack Cafe.

AYAKO MIHARA (pf)

Piano player.　Performs around Tokyo, Himeji and New York City.

Piano player. He has performed in jazz bars in the suburbs of Tokyo, Himeji, and New York.

Born in Hyogo Prefecture, then Hawaii, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and currently lives in Saitama Prefecture

He started playing the piano at an early age, and played clarinet and horn in the chorus club in elementary school and the brass band club in junior high school. As a student, he spent time in the United States and became interested in jazz.

After graduating, he began performing and currently performs in the jazz scene in the suburbs of Tokyo, and also serves as a jazz piano instructor.

Since 2016, he has been spending about two months a year in New York, playing in jazz clubs and on the street, and teaching Barry Harris and Bertha Hope. In New York, he performed with Tyler Mitchell, Billy Johnson, and Izuru Azuma. In 2019, he appeared on stage at Jazz Mobile as a choir of Barry Harris, and had the opportunity to perform with Lee Konitz in the orchestra.

Musicians who particularly influenced him were Tommy Flanagan, Bud Powell, and Charlie Parker.

At Adirondack Cafe you will experience the jazz live in close up and will have a great experience in food, drinks and the atmosphere. You would want to come back again.

A Jazz Cafe where you can enjoy the Jazz music, enjoy our delicious Burgers and Sweets or if you just want to read a book.

We offer veriety of delicious foods and drinks where we have passion from NewYork which we used to live back in the day.

On Tuesdays and wednesday are Jazz Live performance which our fascinating artist perform amazing Jazz Music.

This year is our 15th Aniversary and we are grateful to have our customers that has supported us all these years.
