Bernhard Hollinger is a multi-layered artist, an experimental musician, bass player, composer and producer navigating in the spectrum of Improvised Music, Jazz, Beats, Avantgarde, Neue Musik, Ambient and Electronic Music. His desire to go beyond genres through utilizing intuition and softness as a compass for his musical exploration shines through contrast and playfulness, minimalistic schemes as well as organic movement. His approach of combining the electric bass guitar with electronics is unique and can be heard in different combinations, settings and constellations. Besides, Bernhard is curating and booking for Lo-Fi Playground, a platform which is focusing on experimental formats and adventurous music as well as hosting the montly radio show Space Lab Transmissions on 90mil Radio. His debut album 1987 will be released on Boomslang Records on 25th of April.

Tokyo-based guitarist/sound artist who performs improvised collaborative shows with a variety of artists, including ink, flowers, painting, reading and dance.  The ethereal soundscapes, flickering, moving away and shimmering again, have been described as guitar art, and the sound waves are crystal clear and form a beautiful reverberant space.  The guitar solo album ‘REVERB - Reverberations’, released on cassette tape on a self-labelled label, is also used as music therapy background music in palliative care wards.
