Online media project //www.youtube.com/@angura_live">ANGURA, which aims to bring you closer to Japan's outstanding indie and alternative music scene, brings you the second edition of our independently-organised event. SHOCK FACTOR is about bringing together artists who will blow you away with the force of their performance, leaving a lasting impression you will take with you long after leaving the venue.

Making up the lineup this time are three more stunning acts guaranteed to send a shock through your body, spanning the genres of dream pop, alt-rock, and shoegaze.

The Tiva are a garage rock duo whose grungy sound carries rich emotional resonance will move and entrancing. Having played at Japan's major music festivals Summer Sonic and Fuji Rock, as well as SXSW in Austin, Texas, they have a well-deserved global reputation as one of the defining acts of Japan's alternative music scene. Catch them while you can.

Hammer Head Shark are an alternative rock band whose defining trait is beautiful and raw vocals that cut through the guitar fuzz, delivering an emotional performance matched by few others in the scene. Fresh off their 2024 tour of Canada, this special and internationally-celebrated band cannot be missed playing in their hometown.

Living Rita's transcendent dream pop is unmatched. Core members Mai Takahashi and Masami Takei are the leaders of 15-year-running wildly popular J-pop band Czecho No Republic, and when they decided to turn their talents and experience to this new genre, the results were truly incredible. This is world-building music at its finest, and the live experience is unforgettable and unmissable.
