We’re back on 11/23 with a fabulous one-day festival at Tokyo bathhouse Denki-yu for the third year running! 11/23、あの沸きに沸いたSentoSensationsが今年も更に進化し新たな熱狂と共に電気湯へ帰ってきます！

Last year, SentoSensations was all about launching new projects like sankaku’s ramen book, and Demsky’s new single. But at its core, a sento like Denki-yu has an important social role: bringing a community together. So, this year, we’re celebrating our community and all the creativity, culture, and craft they have to offer in a venue that’s really special to us!

昨年のSentoSensationsでは、sankakuのラーメン本やDemskyの新曲リリースなど、新プロジェクトのローンチが中心でした。しかし、電気湯は、コミュニティをつなげるという銭湯としての重要な役割を持っています。3年目を迎えた今年のSentoSensationsは、この特別な場所で、コミュニティのクリエイティビティ、カルチャー、クラフトを共に楽しむ、特別なものにしたいと思っています！

SentoSensations 3 is going to be bigger and better than ever! Here’s what’s happening:

・An anime-themed lecture by Hosei University professor Stevie Suan

・An exhibition by Kamakura-based illustrator Hikaru Kusaka

・A panel on the perils of translation, featuring translators and writers Polly Barton and Leo Elizabeth Takada

・A panel on third spaces in Tokyo, with a lineup that includes Denki-yu owner Katsuhito Okubo, AQ co-founder and designer Chris Palmieri

・✨SECRET ✨SURPRISE✨OPENING MUSICIAN

・A non-stop lineup of DJs and electronic musicians from all over Asia, from 3pm till 9pm

・Craft beer, Jamaican food, and craft soda from Hong Kong

・A foot bath. Live music and a foot bath. Oh, and also a photo booth!

Bonus: We’ll be selling advance paperback copies of sankaku’s new publication, Volume 03: GODS before the official launch party which will take place in 2025. No, you won’t be able to buy it online anywhere else. Early access, baby! Anyone coming to the party has FIRST DIBS. And if you haven’t read Volume 02: Ramen yet, we’ll have copies of that too…

法政大学のStevie Suan教授によるアニメに関するセッション、鎌倉を拠点とするイラストレーター日下ヒカルの展示、Polly BartonとLeo Elizabeth Takadaによる翻訳の難しさをテーマにしたパネルディスカッション、電気湯オーナー大久保勝仁とAQ共同創業者Chris Palmieriによる「東京のサードスペース」をテーマにしたトークセッションなど、さまざまなクリエイティブが交差し、新しいつながりが生まれる特別な一日です。
