Nobuo Fujii - drums

At the age of 18, he discovered jazz and started playing drums in the Modern Jazz Society of Waseda University.In his second year of college, he was discovered by Ryojiro Furusawa (died in 2011), a drummer 7 years older than him who was already active in the field, and entered the professional world.

As a regular and session musician in many bands including Akira Sakata(as) trio, he has performed at live houses, jazz and rock festivals and concerts in Japan and abroad such as Meurs, Berlin, Montreux, etc.

He has also participated in many recordings.He has also participated in many recordings.He is known for his wide-ranging playing style, which is not limited to jazz, but incorporates a variety of rhythms, as well as for his consistent playing.
