Carl Stone and Ken Ikeda will hold an improvisation open recording live.It all started back on January 20 of this year, when the two musicians played a show that was so good and so perfect that both of them requested a physical release of the recordings. The first time the band was approached about releasing the recordings on cassette tape by the newly launched KNOCK label.

During our discussions, Carl suggested that we avoid the interruption of the music when the tape is flipped over, which would greatly affect the musical experience for the listener, and we decided to do a live show to accommodate the flip side.We believe that by recording the special experience of a live performance, which is a momentary phenomenon that is limited to that moment, and by creating a work of art to be released to the world, we can expand the musical experience that has inevitably become localized over and over again, without being limited by place or time. We want to share this with as many people as possible.

We sincerely hope that those of you who visited us in February, as well as those who have not yet experienced this show, will be witnesses to this show and participate in both the transient musical experience itself and the enduring musical experience.
