MAX HUTTLER (UK)
Max Hattler is visual artist and filmmaker from London whose short films have been winning numerous awards in film festivals world-wide. He was described by “Dazed and Confused” magazine as one of the “world’s most exciting young animators”. In his work he extensively collaborate with Robert Siegel who was honored by SHIFT|DOTMOV festival for his “mesmerizing, beautiful and disturbing work”. Their joint DVD will be released by UPLINK in Winter, 2008.
LOD+ AMANDA LOPEZ (Kitekture, Snergy-networks) (SPAIN)
LOD, also known as Luis Ortiz, and Amanda Lopez have been creating live audio-visual performances and releasing from Klitekture and Sinergy-networks labels since 2005. In their live performances they attempt to create symbiotic audio-visual compositions treating both music and visuals as one. The results are unique pieces of live performance art that have been presented to high critical acclaim all over the world both in art galleries and museums as well as such well known club venues as Berlin’s “Berghain” and “Watergate”.

Kanta Horio is a Tokyo-based visual and sound artist who creates highly sophisticated audio/visual performances using electromagnets, motors, contact microphones, paper clips, washi paper and a video camera. His sound and visual machines are based on real-world physical phenomenon as well as sounds and visuals that they create. Since 2001, he has performed extensively around the world in both art galleries and night clubs in such locationms as Barcelona, Mexico, Montreal, and Toronto as well as such acclaimed festivals as Sonar and Yokohama Trienalle.
NAO TOKUI (OP.DISK, PROGRESSIVE FORM) (Tokyo)
Nao Tokui is researcher, artist, DJ and creator whose goal is to establish new relationship between music and human beings both through composing and creating audio-visual installations. He produces and releases his music on such acclaimed labels as Progressive Form and Fumiya Tanaka’s op.disk, performed extensively world-wide and has shown his audio installations in such prestigious media art venues as NTT ICC gallery in Tokyo.
SPIELFILM - (Tokyo)
Spielfilm is Tokyo-based algorithmic visual artist who constructs every visual element by directly programming them using symbolic programming languages. His visuals are sharp, simple, hypnotizing and unmistakably Spielfilm-like. Spielfilm is a resident VJ with Minimal Tokyo collective and he performed extensively at such top electronic music venues such as Tokyo clubs UNIT and Womb as well as Metamorphose festival.
