Focusing to up-and-coming or new artists and bands, the music web media presenting at the forefront of the next generation Rock scenes, “Rock is”
Since grand opening in 2010, one of the most respected live music venues in Tokyo and the birthplace of Japan’s music cultures, “Shibuya Milkyway”
In addition to the independent book (Rock’n’Roll ga futtekita hi - the day of the falling Rock’n’Roll), delivering the Rock’n'Roll stories via media and events, “DONUT”

Having teamed up these 3 parties, “Rock is Live” will be held on Thursday 26th May.

On the memorable first time event at this day, "THE BOHEMIANS" and "the twenties" will appear on the stage and "Ayane Yamasaki", 17 years old singer-and-songwriter, will act as their opening act. These 3 bands and artist have performed at the popular acoustic studio events, “ONE SONG”, which was presented by “Rock is”. Unlike studio recording previously, they will grab the audience at their place to perform at the live venue this time. Check it out and be there on Thursday 26th May!  【EVENT CONCEPT】
Music has been created day-to-day and blowing up at the scene. As music can be felt in various environment nowadays, we don’ know when and what is a beginning. We want to express the feelings “something” to as many people as possible, so we are planning to diversify this event by multilateral developments. As what will happen is unpredictable, we believe the music via web/media/Venue offers the potential power and brightness to people, We hope your music discovery (Trigger) by the web/media can lead to feel music at the live venue (Experience).
