Musashino Juke Joint Blues Jam Again

This is the second one this month by popular demand!!

The Musashino Juke Joint Blues Jam is one of the traditions in Kichijoji. It is now into the 15th year!

Hosted by a funky sax player, Takeaki Tsutsumi, and a fine guitarist, Gabe Okuda, this jam was always so popular it is held twice a month starting this year. We have had many non-Japanese customers, residents and tourists alike, and they all loved our shows. Though it is a jam open for everybody, we sometimes have pros and semi-pros, and most importantly, have excellent regular member musicians, who all make this jam definitely worth watching. Come join us at the Foxhole basement jazz bar on the 24th!

If you are a player, please come on by with your axe. If you are a singer, please just bring your voice!

If you are a Blues fan, please just come by and enjoy watching them play! The admission is 500 yen for a jam participant and FREE for a watching-only customer.  The atmosphere is very friendly. We always have some people who speak English.

Directions:  Take the North Exit of the JR/Keio Kichijoji station, turn right, cross the big intersection, walk along the railroad track toward Nishiogikubo/Shinjuku, walk a few mins until you see the "Foxhole sign" on the left hand side of the street.
