Female Japanese composer and musician based in Tokyo.She made her debut in "UTSUHO" from John Zorn's TZADIK in 2001( joined Haino Keiji as a guest musician). She began playing solo improvisation since 2002, as well as collaborating with many musicians since 2007. In recent years she plays duo with Kawabata Makoto, the leader of Acid Mothers Temple. And she began to sing mainly Japanese Enka with the piano since 2012.

Yoshio Machida

Sound and visual artist, Steelpan player. He studied minimal art, music and movie extensively under Kuniharu Akiyama and Kishio Suga at Tama art university in Tokyo. Machida has played for art and music festivals; ISEA2004, Sonar-Tokyo, Europhonics Jazz Festival, Maerz Musik, Cyberfest, etc. He has been introduced in a book "Haunted Weather" by David Toop and in a compilation album "Japanese Avant Garde" (Sub Rosa, 2002) with Yoshihide Otomo, Sachiko M, Merzbow, etc. In 2009, Machida directed sound design and composed soundtracks for Van Cleef & Arpels exhibition in Tokyo. In 2011, he had a solo exhibition using video installation, embroidery work and photopaper work in Bulgaria. He mainly plays improvisation with steelpan, not like Caribbean style, more like experimental and traditional Indian music. He will release an album by old modular synthesizer from a French label Baskaru in the spring, 2014.
