About:
Offimex is a newly formed duo bringing together the established experimental musician Apulati Bien and the ever-evolving writer and curator Milena Estrada.
Their performance, Catábasis, is a descent into the depths of the human body, considered as an ancient living entity—where ambient sounds and spoken word give shape to fragmented and abstract memories.

Drawing inspiration from cavernous ecosystems and by the means of granular textures and microloops, they craft immersive atmospheres where voice intertwine with grainy distant pianos and organ melodies. Their live is a combination of layered ambient textures and poetic fragments encouraging
“deep listening”. Using field recordings—processed through a modular
synthesizer—and the voice as a narrative thread, their live set unfolds as a liturgical act where a patchwork of rituals echoes the sounds of the earth,
tracing a path through the hidden landscapes of memory, matter, and transformation.
