About:
Bolt Of Void is a sonically amorphous band, and a family coven, featuring interdisciplinary artists Cecyl Ruehlen, Kari Treadwell, and Nyal Ruehlen based out of Tucson AZ and Portland OR. Formed in the mid '10s they re-developed their project in 2024 from the ashes of life changes and geographical distances.
They are interested in eternally divine sound. Through ritually centering extreme noise, drone clusters, and atonal portal jumping, the trio's dense sonics are largely channeled through the triangulation of hand-made, chimeric stringed instruments, object obstructions, free form action, trance and chaos magic. They are represented on Harmonic Ooze Records.
Bolt Of Voidは、音響的に不定形なバンドであり、家族のような集団でもあり、アリゾナ州ツーソンとオレゴン州ポートランドを拠点とする学際的なアーティスト、セシル・ルーレン、カリ・トレッドウェル、ニャル・ルーレンで構成されています。2010年代半ばに結成された彼らは、人生の変化と地理的な距離という灰の中から、2024年にプロジェクトを再構築しました。彼らは永遠に神聖なサウンドに興味を持っています。儀式的にエクストリームノイズ、ドローンクラスター、無調のポータルジャンプを中心に据えることで、このトリオの濃密なサウンドは、手作りの弦楽器、物体による障害、自由な形式のアクション、トランス、カオスマジックの三角測量を通して主に伝達されます。彼らはHarmonic Ooze Recordsに所属しています。
