Takako Nakano (as)

Born on August 28. Born in Tokyo.
From the age of three, he became familiar with music at the Yamaha Music School.
When he entered junior high school, he started playing tenor saxophone in the brass band club.
When he was in high school, he formed a Big Band at a concert and fell in love with jazz.
He joined the Big Band in college and began playing on the alto saxophone.
Later, he turned to modern jazz and learned jazz playing, improvisation, and theory.
Studied with jazz saxophonist Akira Omori.
Currently, he is developing live activities with his own quartet and duo unit, mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
In 2008, he released an original CD "Yellow Sapphire".
In August 2015, the new album "ZOZO" was released.
The composition is written as if he were writing a diary, writing about what moved him and what he enjoyed, as if the scene came to mind.
His works have a unique view of the world and have been highly acclaimed.

Toru Tsuzuki (p)

Born on August 27, 1952 in Kyoto. In 75, he started professional activities at jazz clubs in Tokyo such as Shinjuku PIT INN. In 84, he left the leader album "Neptune". In 85, he formed "Chicken Shack" with Junji Yamagishi and Hideshi Toki. Released more than 10 albums in total (Melduck). He expanded his scope of activities not only to jazz but also to black music in general, as well as keyboard work and studio activities.
