Only at Akihabara GOODMAN: Opening Yumi Hara Neovichord solo
Neovichord is electric clavichord developped by Isoharu Nishiguchi, Professor Emeritus of Kanagawa Institute of Technology and Kiyohiko Yamaya, CEO of YAMAHIKO/ Sonaresearch. Clavichord is the only acoustic keyboard instrument which can produce 'after-touch' such as vibrato and bending, but it is extremely quiet and difficult to mic-up, so Yumi has never used it for live performance even though she uses for recordings often. Neovichord made her possible to use clavichord sound for live performance.
Take the Showa Dori Exit of JR Akihabara station and go straight ahead, cross the big road, passing under the overpass, and then head right. When you get to the Metro exit, just before Kanda river, turn left. You will find Club Goodman on the right in the basement of a musical instrument shop.
