Meet the Artists

Shinobu Ishizaki (Saxophone)
Tokyo-born and a force in the local jazz scene, Ishizaki is praised for his sharp emotional tone and boundary-crossing creativity. A versatile performer, composer, and producer, he also leads jazz residencies at venues like Misty ([turn0search17]), and brings his alto sax to projects from fusion to experimental jazz ([turn0search14]). With album credits including works for Lupin the Third soundtracks, his playing is both nostalgic and forward-thinking ([turn0search2]).

Sora Ichikawa (Piano)
A rising star born in 1998, Sora began piano at age four and found his musical path through ragtime. A top graduate from Senzoku Gakuen’s jazz program, he released his debut album Genseki!!!!!! in 2023 and gained recognition at the Seiko Summer Jazz Camp for his arranging and composition skills ([turn0search1]). His original track "Straying in Alpacas" earned praise for its melodic craft and emotional subtlety, blending jazz, R&B, and electronic production ([turn0search3]).
