Masaki Yoshihisa
Guitarist and composer. He began his musical career as a jazz trumpeter while still in university, performing with his own band as well as in numerous other bands and sessions, including "Shibusashirazu," at live venues in Tokyo and the surrounding areas.
In 1992, he transitioned to playing guitar, and in 2002 released Live at BinSpark 2001, a duo album with saxophonist Arata Suzuki, featuring entirely his own compositions.
His style is rooted in classical guitar, while also drawing inspiration from jazz and the traditional folk music of regions around Turkey.
Currently based in Tokyo, he performs solo as well as in various formats, collaborating with musicians from jazz, improvisational, and classical backgrounds.
For this performance, he will focus on his original compositions and improvisation.
