Details

前半はフリーインプロヴィゼーション、後半はモジュラー・フルートと鍵盤コンピュータによる何らかの楽曲を演奏予定。

Miya (modular flute) and Takumi Ikeda (clavicomputer) will perform a duo concert at Ftarri in Suidobashi. The first half will feature free improvisation, and the second half will showcase pieces that Ikeda composed specifically for them. The soundtrack for the teaser below is a remix of those pieces.

Miya is a jazz musician who has spent the last couple of years exploring new musical expressions by combining her flute playing with a modular synthesizer. She built a performance system that uses the synthesizer to respond to the sound of her flute sound, essentially acting as a collaborator.

Ikeda has worked for many years on live performances using the computer music language SuperCollider. Recently, he has been developing a new improvising method using a typical MIDI keyboard interface and is exploring musical perspectives such as modal music.

In short, this concert will explore and showcase not only new acoustics but also a new musical language. We look forward to seeing you there.
