Details

Memories of a tour of Hokkaido with Butoh dancer Taketeru Kudo. There was a couple who had been coming to listen to me since they were students. The wife had been ill for a long time and came to the concert despite her difficult condition. She watched as if she was dancing for her lives with Taketeru Kudo's dance. I remember that figure. The life-breathing dance of Taketeru Kudo may be what I need now.

When I performed with piano player Fumi Endo, I felt the power of a very strong will, the expansion of the music and the sparkle in her delicate expression.

Singer Akaihirume, whose performance at Tristan Honzinger's memorial concert in January was a revelation. Her wild spontaneity and sensitivity, her unbelievable vocal technique, her voice volume and range were all amazing.

Taketeru Kudo, Fumi Endo, Akaihirume and Takashi Seo. I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm very interested. Please come and witness it!

In 1997 she founded her own group, Tokyo Gionkan, which has been involved with artists and companies in various fields, and has performed solo and continuously in various parts of the world.
