STRADA...

After Masami Shinoda passed away, Kanji Nakao [saxophone, klarinette] and Takero Sekijima [tuba], who had been in a trio called Compostela with Shinoda, formed a new band called Strada with Yoshiki Sakurai [guitar] and Yoshio Kuge [drums] as members. Strada is the strongest unit of the four powerful and matchless musicians who're legendaly in Japanese jazz history.

New Residential Quarters=NRQ started in 2007 as a duo of Yuki Yoshida [erhu]  and Takuma Makino [guitar]. In 2008, Masanori Hattori [double bass] joined the band, and then Kanji Nakao [spirit] was asked to join, and now there are four members. And will continue to be four in the future.
