**Miya (Modular Flute)**
A flutist and musician whose journey began in jazz, transitioned to improvisation, and evolved into a fusion of acoustic and electronic music. She explores the intermediate realms at the boundaries of things and the world, creating sacred sound spaces through the breath of life and the extension of the informational body. Miya has released numerous albums, including *"Miya’s Book"*, produced by Yosuke Yamashita. Her encounter with the philosophy of Japanese flutes through the revival of traditional folk music led her to study under Yukihiro Isso for the nohkan and under Chisaki Yagi for the ryuteki, which she has incorporated into her music. She also integrates electronic approaches such as effects and synthesizers into her sound-making, and currently expands her activities into electronic music and media art as a modular flute performer, where she controls modular synthesizers with her flute performances.
