A nine-piece big ensemble formed in 2006 by Japan's leading bassist, Daiki Yasukagawa. The members include Shiro Sasaki, active with Big Horns Bee and Nettai Tropical Jazz Big Band; Keiji Matsushima, whose powerful trumpet style has garnered attention, especially with Yuji Ohno & Lupintic Five; Hideaki Nakaji, a highly regarded composer/arranger who is an essential part of the Latin scene in Japan; Kazuhiko Kondo, who is sought after by many bands including Makoto Ozone No Name Horses and Junko Moriya Orchestra & Sextet; Osamu Koike, well known for his group and band "EQ", Wataru Hamasaki, active in "ENCOUTER" with Hideaki Hori and Toshio Miki's band, etc., Hideaki Hori, active in the Pops field including Dreams Come True and Thelma Aoyama's works in addition to Jazz, and Masahiko Osaka, one of the most popular drummers in the J-Jazz scene, are the elite members at the core of the current J-Jazz scene. The powerful stage presence of this dynamic ensemble is not to be missed, and will shake the hearts of all who see it!
