Christian Wallumrød/Kim Myhr

In recent years, Christian Wallumrød and Kim Myhr have been prominent figures on the Norwegian experimental music scene, both as composers and performers.

They have worked together in different projects over the years, but it has taken some years to find together in duo format.
They have now finally done so, and present a pulse-driven electronic music, which may be described as a kind of asymmetric avant-garde techno.

Kim Myhr (electric 12-string guitar and electronics) has released three critically acclaimed solo albums; All Your Limbs Singing (2014) on SOFA, and Bloom (2016) and You | me (2017) on the label HUBRO. He is an active composer, writing for chamber groups, electroacoustic settings, and for different performing arts projects. His last record You | me was just nominated for Nordic Music Prize, alongside Björk, Fever Ray and 9 other Nordic Artists.

Christian Wallumrød (drum machines, synth, electronics) is among others things known for his work with his own ensemble, and with the quartet Dans les arbres, both bands with a series of recordings at ECM Records, and extensive tour activities across large parts of the globe. He has been nominated for the Nordic Council Music Prize with both groups.
