Hello friends, Samm Bennett here. I'm happy to announce that Bennett-Kuroda will be playing MORE than just once a month at Fuglen in Asakusa! The Tokyo Song Celebration series of monthly concerts (that we started in March of this year) has been going so well that we're adding another one! Unlike Tokyo Song Celebration, though, which always features Bennett-Kuroda PLUS a guest performer, the new monthly shows will just be Daisuke Kuroda and myself. More time to stretch out and try new stuff! We're real psyched about it.
So... drop on by! Music from 20:00 till 23:00 or later...

Fuglen hosts occasional musical performances, including the "Jazz and Cocktails" series (1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month) and the "Tokyo Song Celebration" series (3rd Friday of the month.
Fuglen is a stylish and comfortable spot, with a focus on fine coffee (some delicious baked goods may also be available during nighttime shows, but not guaranteed!) In addition to coffees and teas, Fuglen features a full bar including craft beer, wine and liquors. Notable also is that there are 3 separate rooms within the venue: the main room (where the music will be happening) as well as another totally separate room on the same floor with tables, couches and chairs, and yet another third room, just up a spiral staircase, with additional lounge-ability. It's possible, then, to move into another area should you want to take a break from the musical performances and chat with friends.
