"Scores" is Originally composed by Hiroyuki Ura (Comporser/Drummer based in Tokyo) for Kenichi Kanazawa's sculptural work "Scores" on the occasion of its inclusion in an exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art, Gunma.
Released from legendary improvised/experimental music label Ftarri's sub label "Meenna".
Satoko Inoue (piano)
Pianist Satoko Inoue is renowned throughout Japan, Europe and in United Stats as a leading interpreter of contemporary solo piano music. She has premiered works by some of Japan's foremost composers including Jo Kondo, Yoritsune Matsudaira, Satoshi Tanaka, Yuji Itoh. She is also known for performing works of other contemporary composers such as Toru Takemitsu, John Cage, Morton Feldman, Henry Cowell, Giancinto Scelsi, Luciano Berio, and others.
Since 1991 Ms. Inoue has been presenting the solo piano series "Satoko Plays Japan" at major venues in that country. She has performed over a hundred contemporary pieces in sixteen concerts in this well-respected series. Before this she was pianist with Musica Practica Ensemble Tokyo, a leading Japanese ensemble which introduced many important pieces of new music to Japan. She is a post-graduate of Tokyo Gakugei University.
Besides performing in Japan, Satoko Inoue has appeared at major European festivals including Darmstadt, the International Experimental Music Festival in Bourges, and at Japan Year (Germany) in 1999. She has recorded two solo CDs on HatHut Records -- "JAPAN PIANO 1996" and "Jo Kondo Works for Piano". She has recorded works of Luc Ferrari on HatHut, and also the CD "Satoko Plays Mieko Shiomi" on the German label Edition Hundertmark.
Currently, besides concertizing, Ms. Inoue teaches piano and music theory at Kunitachi College of Music and at Ueno Gakuen University in Tokyo.
Kenichi Kanazawa (steel square tubes, wooden hammer)
Born in Tokyo in 1956.
In 1979, graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music undergraduate courses in arts and crafts.
In 1981, graduated from the Tokyo National University of the Arts graduate school of art and graduate studies.

Composer, Drummer and Improviser.
I was born in Tokyo, 1984.
I am very influenced by Frank Rosaly(drummer in Chicago), since I costarring with him in the live performance tour at United States and Canada in 2011.
Later, I began the improvisation of the drums
The soundless sound installation work, Presence, winning at the 11th Gunma Biennale for Young Artists, 2012 at the Museum of Modern Art, Gunma.
I have released more than 10 CDs (solo, group, collaborations etc) from TWOLINES (which is independent label launch with Shinjiro Yamaguchi, 2004) and others.
Also, I made music for the commercial videos of NEPENTHES and Shiseido.
In the past, such as performed a collaboration with sculptor and contemporary dancers, there is an alternating current with various artists through music.
