GO MARCH (BE) - ROPPONGI HILLS ARENA

Go March released their debut album in november of last year and have been described as Kraftwerk meets Mogwai. But there’s certainly more to discover. The album got raving reviews and a few songs made it to the playlists of BBC Radio 6 (Steve Lemacq) and Apple’s Beats 1 Radio (Zane Low). The album can be purchased at Tower Records in Japan a.o.

Their debut ‘Rise’ single was remixed by Psychemagik (UK), Shigeto (USA), Peaking Lights (USA) and Dreems (AUS).

In the past they’ve opened for TortoiseMaseratiTrans AmEcho & The Bunnymen and Red Snapper and played shows in BelgiumItalyFranceThe Netherlands, Germany and Sweden and the United Kingdom.

Here’s three music videos to discover the band:

QUOTES
"Go March are a guitar/synth/drums trio from Antwerp who make wonderful post- rock instrumentals and urgently need to be given a soundtrack commission." - Uncut (UK)

"You might not know a huge amount about Belgian cosmic rockers Go March but hopefully that's set to change when you get your hands on their new single 'Rise' a real motherchugger of a space-rock monster." - Thump (UK)

"Sitting somewhere between the post-rock abstraction of Explosions In The Sky and the math-tinged frenetics of Three Trapped Tigers, their curious invention makes for a bracing but entrancing experience." - Clash Magazine (UK)

"I want you to shutdown what ever thought you might have. Here’s an instrumental you can hum along to. Latch onto the melody and go on the journey my friends." - Elevtrtrax (USA)

"Sounding like Holy Fuck having a bash at some German Motorik covers, Go March cut a powerful figure, as hypnotic rhythms inter splice with devastating melodies and enough swagger to make Bobbie Gillespie take pointers." - This Year In Music (UK)

"An explosive continuation of psychedelic, electronic synth rock, Belgian trio Go March release their debut album, veering from haunting tones to relentless, pulsating sounds. A pretty impressive instrumental record, the technical ingenuity they possess, and that ability to know just when to change from eerie keyboard progression to blistering guitar riffers, make the journey even better." - NARC (UK)
