Takayuki Yagi | Jazz Pianist
Takayuki Yagi is a distinguished jazz pianist whose artistry balances traditional Bebop roots with contemporary sensibilities. Having honed his craft in New York City under legends such as Walter Bishop Jr. and Barry Harris, Yagi has developed a signature style defined by "Speed and Lyricism."
A Grand Prize winner of the Asakusa Jazz Contest and a two-time finalist at Italy’s 7virtual Jazz Club Contest (Web Community Prize winner), he has recorded with international masters including Ben Williams and Billy Drummond. From NHK broadcasts to prestigious stages in Hong Kong and Shanghai, Yagi remains a dedicated live performer, touring extensively with his unique, dynamic sound.
